Bangladesh Mathematical Olympiad (BdMO)

The Bangladesh Mathematical Olympiad (BdMO) is a nationwide mathematics competition organized by the Bangladesh Mathematical Olympiad Committee to promote problem-solving, logical thinking, and mathematical creativity among school and college students. It serves as the official platform for selecting and training the Bangladeshi team for the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO). BdMO is open to students from schools and colleges across Bangladesh, typically divided into several age or class-based categories. Participants begin at regional or divisional rounds, with top performers advancing to the national phase and, ultimately, to intensive training camps for potential selection to the national IMO team. Taking part in BdMO helps students deepen their understanding of mathematics beyond the classroom, gain exposure to competitive problem-solving, and join a vibrant national community of math enthusiasts.
