Bentley Film Festival (MA High School Film Fest)

The Bentley Film Festival is a high school film festival hosted by Bentley University’s Media and Culture Department in Waltham, Massachusetts. It showcases short films created by high school students across Massachusetts, typically including narrative, documentary, experimental, and other creative categories. The event is held on campus and features screenings of selected films, followed by awards and recognition for standout work. High school students (grades 9–12) in Massachusetts are invited to submit their films for consideration. The festival gives students a chance to see their work on a big screen, receive feedback, and connect with Bentley faculty, students, and peers interested in film and media. Participants gain practical experience in filmmaking, portfolio material for college applications, and exposure to media and cultural studies opportunities at the university level.
