Gallaudet National Deaf Academic Bowl

The **National Deaf Academic Bowl** is an annual, nationwide quiz bowl competition for deaf and hard of hearing high school students, organized by **Gallaudet University** in Washington, D.C. Teams typically consist of four students and a coach from schools or programs serving deaf and hard of hearing students. They compete in fast‑paced buzzer matches covering subjects such as math, science, history, literature, the arts, current events, and Deaf culture. Regional tournaments are held across the United States, with top teams advancing to the national finals at Gallaudet University.
