Eurovision Young Musicians Competition

Eurovision Young Musicians is a biennial classical music competition organized by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) for outstanding young instrumentalists. Participants are typically selected through national competitions run by EBU member broadcasters, and finalists perform concertos with a professional orchestra in a televised event hosted by a different European city each edition. The competition is aimed at young classical instrumentalists (often in their mid-teens to early twenties) who are citizens or residents of countries whose broadcasters belong to the EBU. While not specifically a high school event, advanced high school musicians who meet their national broadcaster’s age and performance standards may be selected.
