International Greenwich Olympiad (IGO)

The International Greenwich Olympiad (IGO) is an international science and engineering project competition for secondary school students, with a particular focus on environmental science, energy, engineering, and related STEM fields. Students typically present research or innovation projects that address real-world problems, and their work is evaluated by an international jury of academics and professionals. Participation is generally open to high school–age students who are selected or nominated through their schools, national contests, or partner organizations in their home countries. The Olympiad offers participants the chance to showcase their projects on an international stage, receive feedback from experts, and compete for medals and special awards.
