Ivy Film Festival (Student Film Competition)

Ivy Film Festival (IFF) is one of the largest and longest-running student-run film festivals in the world, based at Brown University and the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, Rhode Island. The festival showcases short films and screenplays created by student filmmakers from universities and high schools around the world, and typically includes screenings, Q&As, workshops, and panels with visiting industry professionals. High school students can participate by submitting their work to the festival’s high school category (when offered) or by attending public screenings and events. Selected filmmakers gain the opportunity to have their work shown in a professional festival setting, receive feedback, and network with college students and industry guests. Participation can help aspiring filmmakers build a portfolio, gain exposure, and experience the environment of a major student film festival hosted by Brown University.
