MyImpact Challenge

# MyImpact Challenge The MyImpact Challenge is a national civic engagement contest hosted by the Bill of Rights Institute, the civics education nonprofit whose curriculum reaches classrooms across the country. The contest celebrates students who are actively serving their communities through volunteering, service projects, or social entrepreneurship. Submissions for the 2025-2026 contest are closed, and the Institute invites students to sign up to be notified when the next contest opens. ## What You'll Do - Carry out a genuine civic contribution — a service project, volunteer initiative, or community venture you lead or co-lead - Document your project and its impact following the contest's submission requirements - Connect your work to civic principles and submit your entry online during the contest window ## Who Should Apply Students ages 13-19 in all U.S. states, territories, and Armed Forces schools abroad. It is designed for students already doing service work who want national recognition — and prize money — for what they have built. ## Outcomes The grand prize winner receives $10,000, with additional prizes for other top contestants. Winning pairs documented service with recognition from an established national civics institution — a strong differentiator for community-oriented college applications.
