Science on Tap Student Science Competition

Science on Tap (Teen Edition) is a youth-focused science communication competition hosted by the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) as part of its broader Science Pub/Science on Tap programming. In this event, high school students prepare and deliver short, engaging presentations on scientific topics to a general public audience, typically in a casual, café or pub-style setting. The program is geared toward teens in high school who are interested in science, public speaking, and outreach. Participants gain experience in explaining complex scientific ideas clearly, responding to audience questions, and presenting in a real-world venue outside of school.
