TCS IT Wiz School Tech Quiz

TCS IT Wiz is a nationwide inter-school information technology quiz competition organized by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in India. Launched in 1999, it is widely regarded as one of India’s largest and longest-running IT quizzes for school students. The quiz focuses on a wide range of IT and tech topics, including computers, software, hardware, the internet, emerging technologies, tech companies, digital trends, and tech history. The competition is typically open to students from classes 8–12 (with some editions specifying 9–12) from recognized schools across India, who participate in teams representing their schools. It is conducted as city or regional prelims followed by regional finals and a national grand finale, and in recent years many rounds have been held online, making it easier for schools from multiple locations to join. Participants gain exposure to current technology trends, develop quick thinking and teamwork, and can win certificates, prizes, and visibility with a leading global IT company.
