USA Science & Engineering Festival Expo

The USA Science & Engineering Festival (USASEF) is a large national STEM festival held primarily in Washington, DC, designed to inspire K–12 students and the public through hands-on science and engineering experiences. The flagship USA Science & Engineering Festival Expo brings together universities, companies, federal agencies, nonprofits, and professional societies that host interactive exhibits, live demonstrations, stage shows, and talks from scientists, engineers, and STEM celebrities. High school students can attend the public Expo days, special school-focused sessions, X-STEM speaker events, and related programs to explore STEM careers, meet professionals, and engage with cutting-edge research and technology. While there is no selective application process for general attendance, students benefit by discovering new STEM fields, networking with educators and industry leaders, and finding internships, competitions, and college programs highlighted by exhibitors.
